For example, if the total expenditure required for your farming is Rs.3 lakh, you can insure under this scheme by paying 1.5% interest of Rs.4500 on that three lakh.

PMFBY Rabi Scheme

If you are a farmer growing September and October crops like pulses, peas, barley, etc., you can apply for the PMFBY Rabi scheme. You can apply online for this scheme by paying two percent of the total cost required for your agriculture. For example, if the total cost of your farming is one lakh rupees, you need to pay Rs 2000. This scheme will get you Rs 1 lakh if agriculture is affected during monsoons.
